2020 was an amazing year in the Sacramento Metro! In real estate, it was a wild ride with ready buyers and few sellers, which is identified as a “Sellers Market”. My brokerage, Coldwell Banker Realty, closed more business than any other brokerage in Placer County last year, but we are looking at 2021, and the scarcity of homes on the market makes us recognize what this year has in store.
As vaccines roll out, and business starts to return, the market will respond. Here’s what we know now. We cannot provide enough homes to the buyers who want to buy. Sellers need to pivot if they wish to capture this snapshot of a robust market as others did last year. I have the key right here, in my hand. Informed buyers and sellers are the most satisfied. We don’t tell you, we show you what has been successful for us through this, and we let you decide. There are two things that every seller must do:
Recognize that multiple offers are likely. Recognize that preparation of your home will yield better offers.
I have pulled together the plan for that. You need a partner who will get the best price and help you determine next steps. Sometimes, just having this plan has made the difference. Others, it helps fill out your plan. Either way, a professional takes your thoughts and dreams in the direction you need to go. It’s the relief of knowing, your wants and needs are well represented by an advisor you trust.
